“I had wanted to work with this olfactory duo for a long time. Mandarin is an extraordinary fruit for a perfumer, very multifaceted, both fruity with that delicate bitterness we love in citrus fruits and very tangy. Mate, for its part, is surprising; it offers much greener and more herbaceous nuances than tea. Together, they gave me this very lively and zesty freshness that leaves on the skin the delicious scent of a freshly peeled mandarin.”
