History of a Swiss House
The story of the Mizensir house began in 1999 with scented candles all signed by a great “nose”, Alberto Morillas, a perfumer by trade and renowned in fine perfumery.
Being very demanding and always looking for subtle fragrances for the home, never finding products that sufficiently met his expectations, he decided to develop his own candles and room fragrances, with the help of his wife.
In 1999, they combined their skills to create handcrafted scented candles made in Geneva. This marked the birth of Mizensir. The desire to "capture" fragrances in wax requires a thorough knowledge of raw materials and their combinations, as well as extensive research into combustion and scent diffusion.
Today run by their daughter Véronique, Maison Mizensir offers a wide selection of candles and room fragrances, more than a hundred different products, each with a specific scent that evokes a particular atmosphere. In recent years, Alberto Morillas wanted to cultivate his own personal style and create more personal fragrances, combining his favorite ingredients and returning to the fundamentals of traditional perfumery. This led to the creation of the exclusive Mizensir Parfums line.
